where the water cuts through is a community and human service entity established to meet the critical social, economic, health, and educational needs of Northern New Mexico, while preserving the traditional beliefs of Native Americans, Hispanics and other unique cultural communities within Northern New Mexico.

where the water cuts through organizes, supports and participates in a wide range of educational, health, social and economic development service programs throughout the region.

SERVICE AREAS OF INTEREST INCLUDE:

• Counseling and financial support to facilitate participation in higher education

• Support for local artists

• Promotion of employment skill acquisition and job training

• Identify and address unmet medical and mental health treatment needs

• Facilitation of cross-cultural understanding and appreciation

• Evaluation and promotion of regional economic development opportunities

• Co-ordination of volunteer efforts to promote community well-being
