GIVING

Would you like to support the work of where the water cuts through?

where the water cuts through is a 501 (c) 3, New Mexico non-profit organization. All gifts and contributions to the organization are tax deductible.

Local and national financial institutions and a panel of professional advisors have assisted the Board of Directors formulate a range of Giving Options that reflect the interests and preferences of our donors. These options are listed below; however the Board and its legal advisors would be pleased to structure a gift in any manner that a particular donor might want to establish.

Pledges
A pledge has become a popular practice whereby donors commit to support the organization and its work with periodic payments of a specific amount over time.

Cash Gifts
Cash gifts of any amount will always be welcomed; the Board is often able to structure a deferred tax benefit in cases where a cash gift may exceed a donor’s annual deductibility limits.

Stocks and Securities
Our organization is fully prepared to accept marketable stocks and other securities; these can provide certain donors significant tax benefits.

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts from individuals, grant making foundations and corporations enable us to “leverage” a donation to raise additional funds for worthy programs.

Real Estate
Gifts of real property and capital assets, while subject to review and approval by  the Board of Directors, will strengthen the operations and long-term viability of where the water cuts through.
